I met my friend Ernest at Burning Man. He is a caver, photographer, and one of the brightest and most interesting people I know... as well as being the best letter writer!
Here, he comments on the Stamets post.
"One can never underestimate the beauty and purposefulness of Nature. It can weave a delicate and interconnected web that is a wonder to behold.
... Stamets is right: the network of mycelium of mushrooms strongly resembles the pattern (of George Smoot's TED view) of the universe and its web of dark matter and light!"
Well spake Ernie. Thank you.

Hope

No, I never get tired of my name being a useful word.
My name is one of the first and best gifts my parents gave me.
At times I might begin to give in to lunacy, apathy, or depression,
but I'll hear my name and be rapidly steered back to sanity.
Life never ceases to amaze me. I'm so very blessed.
On toward our national election...
and VIVE LE DIFFERENCE!!!
